profile and philosophy
Space Architects was founded in 2003 in response to requests made to our associated engineering consultancy company (at that time SPC Consulting Engineers, now joined with and under the name of SMC Consulting Engineers) for architectural services. Since then we have established ourselves as a design studio with a portfolio of work that is highly creative, varied and distinctive in its design excellence: a standard acknowledged by an award from the International Property Awards for Thailand in 2014. We have been responsible for a range of projects from large-scale sports arenas and industrial facilities to individual bespoke private houses as well as luxury hotels and leisure resorts.

We inhabit space in all that we do. The power of space is such that we can be moved and delighted through our experience of it and our hearts ‘touched’. Acknowledging this, our philosophy is to create an architectural harmony that is derived from the interplay of space, both captured and free. Our belief is that the moulding, balance and relationship of spaces, both public and private, may create an environment which can enhance the way in which we live.
